Biography of Carolina Astrada



Carolina Astrada is an Argentinean painter, draftswoman and sculptress. She graduated from the University of Santa Ana of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
She worked in etchings and lithographs in her beginnings. Portraits and human body are some of her subjects.

She continued her studies in de Museum of Fine Arts of Buenos Aires and the University of New York.

She studied cinematography, fashion design and decoration. She has been working with different pictorial techniques using acrylic in a particular way that can be seen in her sculptures.
